Following the success of the Goldstriker project, Stuart Hughes commissioned us to build another site, Stuart Hughes.com. Although the businesses are partnered, the second site required a different approach to appeal to a different market.
The brief was to create a more interactive and stylised site with slick features to represent the high-end products available.
The site uses unique functions allowing the viewer to assess products and media features which required custom design and programming. The site also has a full secure e-commerce system, providing a full package for both site owner and user.
Goldstriker is a web based business providing customers with unique gadgets and personal technology which are then finished in precious metals.
The goal was to make a sophisticated site that displayed the ‘bling factor’ using a colour scheme to emphasise the exclusivity of the products.
The site is predominantly image based, and uses a custom built nagivation, an interactive press and media section and a full e-commerce system enabling the site user to browse, examine and purchase products.
Goldstriker regularly generates 40,000+ hits per month and is constantly evolving through both product revisions and design adjustments.
